Sogno is a lovely dark ruby red colour with hints of purple tinge. On the nose you get overripe blackberries and blackcurrants. The taste is fruity, sour and fresh and matching the nose filled with flavours of red berries.
This red wine was created from the aleatico and merlot grapes. Half of the grapes are vinified as a white wine, i.e. with direct pressing without skin contact, which gives acidity, and the other half macerates with skins and stems for a few months, which gives a green bitterness together with tannin and color. The wine is stored in steel tanks for 6-7 months.
