1.2. The Contract Between Us
Your order is an offer to buy from us. The order is not confirmed until we accept payment from your order only then will we dispatch the order from Copenhagen or France.
Vintrovert ApS reserves the right to amend orders already taken and acknowledged in order to ensure fair distribution of wines in limited supply, or in the event of stock being no longer available.
Changing these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and we recommend that you check these terms on our website prior to placing an order so that you know which terms will apply to the contract between us.
Prices and Description
Wine descriptions and prices payable are set out in our main Lists, offers and on the website. All prices shown is include Danish VAT. Prices are valid for the period published online but Vintrovert.dk reserves the right to alter prices without notice in the event of major currency fluctuations, changes in the rate of duty, VAT or other taxes, or other market conditions. If, in error, we have under-priced a wine or service, we will not be liable to provide it to you at the published price provided we notify you before we despatch the order or, in the case where we are not despatching an item, within two working days of our acceptance of your order. In this case we may cancel your order provided we refund any payments you have made. Similarly, should we make an error in the description of a wine, we will not be liable to provide the wine described, provided we notify you before a contract has been formed.
Vintrovert Aps accepts payment using one of the following:
- Debit and Credit Cards: Cards issued by MasterCard and Visa, plus Maestro. Payment will be taken at the point of dispatch although Vintrovert ApS reserves the right to take payment before that stage for high value orders.
- MobilePay on smaller orders.
- Online payment through our webshop
- Direct Bank transfer
- We only issue invoices for professionals
1.5. Availability of stock and substitutes
All wines, spirits and services are subject to availability. This will be indicated to the customer at the time of ordering on the website or by email.
If a wine has sold out, wherever possible our buyers will select an appropriate substitute/alternative at the same price that will be displayed on the website or offered to you if ordering by phone or email. If, in this instance, we are unable to contact you, we will not charge more than the value of your original order and provide the customer with a gift card.
- Smaller orders do we only ship to Denmark. Should you be interested in a larger order outside Denmark, then please contact us by mail: email@example.com
- Delivery fees will be shown in checkout.
- Vintrovert ApS strives to ship your order latest by the next day when the payment has been confirmed.
- If you don’t receive your order within a week after the confirmation of order then please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Pre-orders are available in our webshop but Vintrovert ApS can’t guarantee the delivery date on your pre-orders. You will get a notice when the order is ready to get shipped.
1.8. Receipt of deliveries
Vintrovert ApS is not responsible for any loss if you choose to let the mail carrier leave your package outside your door.
Please check your package on arrival and report any damage immediately by calling us or contact us via email email@example.com . Claims for non-delivery, breakage or leakage are only accepted within 14 days of expected delivery date.
Should your package be damaged upon arrival then please provide a photo of the package, name and receipt and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org with the headline “Damaged upon arrival”.
Please be aware that some multi-case orders may get separated if delivered by carrier. If you do not receive the balance of your order within three working days of the first delivery, please contact us by mail.
All wines and spirits, or other goods ordered, remain the property of Vintrovert ApS until the full payment is received.
1.10 Right to Cancel
If you change your mind about some or all of your order, contact us within seven days of receipt of goods. You will have to pay the return fees yourself.
Only when Vintrovert ApS has received the package will we reimburse the appropriate sum paid within seven days of cancellation, provided it is returned as sold in the original packaging. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges for any perishable items containing food, unless faulty or not as described.
1.12. Gift cards
Gift Cards issued by Vintrovert ApS is lasting up to 3 years from the issued date. The giftcard can be used for our services and our webshop.
1.13. Sale or Return
Orders for large quantities of wine for weddings and other functions may be made on a sale or return basis. Wines must be returned in a saleable condition, otherwise no credit will be given.
1.14. Tasting and Events
Vintrovert Aps reserves the right to cancel any advertised function if insufficient tickets are sold, or through unavoidable circumstances. In this case we will contact you as soon as a decision is made and a full refund will be arranged immediately.
If a customer wishes to cancel tickets purchased for a tasting or an event, refunds will only be given if we are notified at least 7 days before the event date.
All attendees to your events tasting alcohol must be 18 years or older. Attendees who appear under the age of 18 will be asked to provide identification with proof of age and a picture.
Please note that Sales of alcohol can only be made, to those over 18 years of age.
Legislation governing the sale of alcohol requires us to positively verify that members are over 18 years of age before we can process their first order.
4.2. Privacy Notice
Vintrovert ApS is committed to delivering the best experience for our customers, as such, we take our responsibilities in looking after your personal information seriously. For the purposes of data protection legislation, we are a data controller and sometimes use third parties to process your data on our behalf.
Security of Payment Card Information
We do not accept payment details sent by email.
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using software which encrypts information you input.
We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
